The Tour de Brisbane is a premier annual cycling festival that transforms the heart of Queensland's sunny capital into a series of fully closed-road race courses, with numerous routes starting from the iconic Queen's Wharf riverfront precinct.
Positioned on the southeastern coast along the winding Brisbane River, the city's unique geography serves as a natural race track, allowing riders of the 110km Gran Fondo event to traverse the famous Story Bridge and Legacy Way Tunnel, as well as tackling the challenging ascent of Mount Coot-tha, which offers panoramic views from 300 metres above sea level.
