The Northern Traverse is a 300km non-stop ultra-marathon that follows Wainwright’s Coast to Coast path across the North of England.
Runners begin at St Bees on the west coast and journey through the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors to finish at Robin Hood’s Bay.
This gruelling endurance challenge involves approximately 6,500m of ascent and requires competitors to navigate rugged, self-sufficient terrain within a five-day limit.
