The Kunanyi Mountain Run Ultra Solo is a grueling 66km circuit that challenges experienced runners with nearly 4,000m of vertical gain.
The course transitions from lush temperate rainforests and fern-filled gullies to a harsh sub-alpine plateau at the summit, often characterised by howling winds and dramatic dolerite rock formations like the Organ Pipes. Along the way, participants traverse technical ridgelines such as the Montagu Thumbs, passing through Tasmania's unique ecosystem.
