The simplicity of the Chase The Sun concept belies its difficulty as a challenge.

Set off at dawn on the longest day of the year and try to ride 200 miles before the sun goes down.

2019 saw a Northern ride added to Chase The Sun. Setting off from Tynemouth on the coast of North-East England, the route crosses Northumberland before entering Scotland. After traversing the Borders and Dumfries & Galloway, the chase aims for Prestwick and the Firth of Clyde in Ayrshire.
