The Summer Spine Race

The Summer Spine Race is one of the premier ultramarathons located within the UK.

Stretching from Edale in the Peak District to Kirk Yetholm in the Scottish Borders, the Spine Race comprises 268 gruelling miles across exposed moorland and remote fell tops following the Pennine Way hiking route.

To complete the summer version of this challenge in under the permitted 156 hours (6.5 days), competitors will have to navigate their way Northwards battling the landscape and their own will to continue in equal measure.
